We are seeking an experienced and organized Shipping/Receiving Manager to join our team. The Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution and inventory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team that ensures shipping and receiving activities are cost effective and meet deadlines
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently both in the warehouse plus loading and unloading of trucks
• Use warehouse management software to manage different aspects of shipping, receiving and inventory
• Monitor quality of items and processes and make changes as needed to improve both
• Employee development to include evaluations and co-coordinating their training. Certify the department personnel in forklift operations
• Confer with management, peers, or subordinates to resolve employee issues
• Inventory control of warehoused items
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Meet safety, quality, financial, and production goals
• · Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· · a minimum of 5 years of Warehouse Management experience

· · High school degree or equivalent

· · Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

· · Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

· · Forklift experience

· · Strong analytical and organizational skills

· · Intermediate computer skills

· · Ability to multitask

· · Reliably contribute to a positive work environment

· · Provide timely feedback to all members within the organization as well as external vendors and customers

· · Provide hands on support to team members

· · Proven ability to work with a team of people with different personalities and skillsets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.14 per hour
