Overview:
We are seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our team. As a Service Dispatcher, you are responsible for attaining maximum utilization of internal and field technical resources through daily dispatch of IT service requests. This position requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure seamless coordination between clients and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exception client service.
Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests via phone calls and emails.
- Coordinate with various IT support teams to optimize the allocation of resources.
- Process incoming service requests promptly and accurately
- Keep clients informed about the progress of their requests and any potential service disruptions
- Enhance client satisfaction through efficient service delivery and quick response times.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Ensure optimal utilization of IT support resources and improve productivity.
- Escalate service requests exceeding agreed-upon service levels.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests in our PSA (Professional Services Automation) software.
- Schedule recurring service tickets efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Coordinate routine maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Verify and analyze monthly client portal reports for accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in basic computer operations and system navigation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
- Technical awareness to match resources with technical issues.
- Familiarity with key IT services provided by the organization.
- Understanding of support tools and techniques.
- Typing proficiency for quick and accurate data entry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Credentials and Experience:
- Previous experience in client service or phone support roles.
- Familiarity with computer systems support terminology and concepts.
