Nel's Bi Lo Market in Pocatello, ID is looking for one meat department service professional to join our 18 person strong team. We are located on 333 N. 15th. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged. Previous experience is preferred but we would be willing to train the right person for the position.

Responsibilities

*Cutting & packaging meat for our store. *Custom cutting beef and wild game. *Interfacing with customers at the meat counter, and upselling products. *Answering phone calls sent to the meat department. *Organizing and leading the team in the meat department. *Helping create and implement promotions to increase sales. *Help clean and sanitize the department. *Work well with other team members and accept needed direction

Qualifications

*Previous experience working in a meat department or as a meat cutter is preferred. *Must be able to lift 50-90lbs at a time *Willing to work 30-40 hours/week. Always have Sundays and major holidays off *Must have a strong sense of customer service. *Should have experience using a knife, and feel comfortable doing so. *Have a ServSafe certification or is willing to obtain one at the cost of the company. *Must be a team player with a desire to work.

Compensation depends on experience and performance during the training period. During the 2-6 week initial training period there will be a reduced wage because we believe you should earn what your able to produce. We look forward to receiving your application.
