Location: Bend

Compensation: $22.45/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)

Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week), weekend work required

NeighborImpact Housing Stabilization Overview

This role works within the Housing Stabilization program. Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The Homeless Management Information System is a computer database that is used to collect and share information on homelessness and social services in Central Oregon. The mission of HMIS Specialist is to support and train NeighborImpact employees and other community partners on the HMIS database. 

The Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Specialist is responsible for managing the data related to homelessness services. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to improve service delivery and outcomes for individuals experiencing homelessness. The specialist ensures data quality, security, and privacy compliance, and supports stakeholders in using the HMIS to make informed decisions. Additionally, this role provides training and technical assistance to users of the HMIS software. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to social service and is an on-site, in-person position.

Requirements

• Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to utilize Excel at an intermediate level required
• Travel throughout the tri-county area regularly, in personal vehicle, required
• Two years of experience in end-user training and support for software systems/platforms preferred
• HMIS software experience preferred
• Four years of professional experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred
• Ability to travel nationally for training purposes occasionally preferred
• Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment:

1. Valid driver’s license
2. Proof of current auto insurance
3. Access to reliable transportation 
4. Satisfactory criminal background check
