Job Summary
Neighborhood House (NH) operates multiple education and employment programs that serve several hundred individuals and families annually. These programs provide multilingual, multicultural case management, and comprehensive employment search, placement, training, retention and career advancement support for job seekers throughout King County. This position works with job seekers of all backgrounds to assist them in securing meaningful employment, job training and career advancement opportunities.
The focus of this position will be to connect South King County residents from underserved communities with training and apprenticeship opportunities that lead to livable wage jobs in the aviation sector. The position conducts outreach and provides career planning, training navigation support, employment coaching and supportive services to program participants. The program will support participants to enroll in and complete training programs in aviation technology and to gain employment and/or apprenticeships in living wage careers in Port-related jobs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and/or experience with aviation technology career pathways.
