Neighborhood Health – Senior Director of Information Services

Exempt, 40 Hours

Due to expansion, Neighborhood Health is looking to add an Senior Director of Information Services to our team. As Senior Director of Information Services, you will:

  • Develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance, In conjunction with the Compliance Officer. 
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of peripheral equipment production Laptops, printers, phones. Including reviewing network integration, reliability, and maintenance requirements.
  • Assist in resolving technology problems resolving support tickets to eCW, Athena and future software obtained by the practice; interface with Network Administrator and Help Desk Support Specialist and provide recommendations to Help Desk Support specialist on when to escalate ticket.
  • Utilize independent technological expertise to evaluate hardware and software solutions in the market and provide detailed analysis of review to leadership with recommendations.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and processes to maintain compliance with ever-developing standards and expectations.
  • Responsible for the completion of long-term and short-term IT projects.
  • Oversee project management to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints; collaborate with all levels of staff and external contractors for project success.
  • Work collaboratively to set priorities for the deployment of information technology.
  • Communicate technical information with other staff members clearly and effectively. 
  • Able to demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills required. 
  • Must have a thorough understanding of federal HIPAA regulations to ensure integrity of protected health information (PHI).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in optimization of computer technology and software programs including social media, and internet applications; installation of new software systems, including data transfer; data entry, organization, and retrieval multiple software programs including Microsoft Office; process development, maintenance, and continual improvement; working with effective multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Services. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Project Management strongly preferred. LEAN training preferred. Visio or Process mapping experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Process Engineering, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
