Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Neighborhood Connections is a non-profit health and social service agency. Our transportation program is seeking an additional part-time driver. Those filling this position will use their own vehicle to provide transportation for individual riders to a wide range of services and appointments. The ideal candidate would also be capable of utilizing our 12-passenger van, The Mountain Town Connector, for larger group rides. The driver would be expected to accompany rider(s) to their appointment or activity when needed.

Payment for this position is determined per ride- $20-23/hour depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement.

*This is primarily an on-the-road position; however, a shared office space is available to work in-office as needed.

Position Qualifications:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license - CDL is not required
• Vehicle must be registered, insured, and fully operational
• Must have strong technological aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new systems
• Must be comfortable and confident while driving in winter weather conditions
• Outstanding communication skills (primarily phone, email, and text)
• Flexible, adaptive, and solution-oriented
• A natural collaborator and team player
• Independent with a high level of accountability

*All of our drivers must complete and clear a criminal background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

• Monday to Friday
