NEFCO specializes in designing products engineered to improve treatment plant performance. We are seeking an accurate and detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter who is talented with AutoCAD to become a valued team member of motivated, dedicated professionals in a growing company. NEFCO Systems, Inc works with municipalities as well as the private sector to help improve their water and wastewater treatment processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Help Project Managers to design solutions for customers
• Make revisions to submittals
• Support ongoing engineering and production needs for component parts and assemblies
• Analyze project plans and field documentation to create successful shop drawings.
• Create technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine designs

Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Familiarity with Structural and Mechanical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to conceptualize custom products and form specifications and drawings

Other helpful qualifications:

• Certificate or Associate degree in mechancial, structural drafting, or civil design
• 1 year experience in Mechanical/Structural Drafting
• Inventor or Solid Works experience

Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.

Profit sharing is offered in addition to compensation between $55,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. A full benefits plan is also available.
