```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office and take payments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of provider's time
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Obtain and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Answer patient questions and explain offered services and estimate.
- Maintain patient records in a confidential and organized manner
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including preparing documents and correspondence

```Skills```
- Medical administrative support: Experience in providing administrative support in a medical setting, such as scheduling appointments, taking vitals, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals and follow up.
- Medical office: Familiarity with the operations and procedures of a medical office, including knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and insurance verification.
- Medical terminology: Proficiency in understanding and using medical terminology accurately.
- Spanish language knowledge
- Office: Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using office practice management and EMR software, data entry, document preparation, and communication.

Medical Assisting certificate not required. Will train. High energy individual with good computer, communication and learning skills will excell. Spanish speaking is preferred.
