The NEEDS Center is looking for drivers to transport individuals with disabilities to and from NEEDS Center day programs located in the Merrimack Valley and Northeast Massachusetts. Work hours for these positions are primarily 7a-10a and/or 2p-5p. Positions can also be extended to full-time positions for qualified applicants, if desired, by working with individuals in our day programs during program hours. This position is primarily located in Rowley, Massachusetts. Hourly rate is $20 an hour.
Responsibilities Include

• Transporting individuals to and from NEEDS Center Day Programs
• Assisting individuals in and out of the vehicles
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record

Qualifications Include

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Have a good driving record with at least 3 years of driving history that can be confirmed
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis.
