The NEEDS Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

NEEDS Center’s mission is to provide education, training, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible.

The NEEDS Center is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who would assist and support individuals with developmental disabilities in carrying out their daily routines, their daily schedules of activities and their individual programs. The LPN will also be responsible for implementing all specific clinical, educational, and vocational programs. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to data collection, reading and writing in daily logs, participation in program design and completion of designated areas of responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

· Implementation of clinical, educational and vocational program on a daily basis, as indicated and/or scheduled

· Observe and record data for programs as established in the educational plan for the individual

· Observe and safeguard individual's human rights

· Maintain a working knowledge of all individuals and will periodically work in other program locations at the request of a manager

· Oversee all health care needs of individual requiring LPN level staff.

· Administer medication as prescribed by MD.

· Must be able to physically ensure the safety of all individuals in the program by safely participating in established behavioral interventions

· Must maintain all certifications, as required

Requirements:

· Active LPN License and minimum of one-year direct experience working in the field as an LPN

· Experience in working with adults with developmental disabilities in a behavioral setting preferred.

· Current CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certification or ability to obtain the certifications

· Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

All hours available - days, evenings, weekends | full-time, part-time per diem

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
