Position Summary:
Necco has an opportunity for a career as Shift Coordinator. This role will add the most value to the company by providing supervision, ensuring safety, and providing outstanding customer service to the clients in our care and those who care for them. The role of Shift Coordinator provides mentoring, staff development, and support to the Skill Builder position.

Leadership and Development
• Develop employees through coaching and mentoring
• Provide job specific trainings as needed
• Utilize the progressive discipline process as a teachable moment

• Ensure accurate care and compliance with the client’s treatment plan through formalized training and documentation
Reporting and Documentation
• Enter shift documentation in the Electronic Health Record 
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of critical incidents, allegations of abuse or neglect, and/or major unusual incidents
• Review and provide feedback on employee documentation
Staffing Model
• Ensure accurate staffing levels for safety and efficiency
• Ensure appropriate staff coverage for holidays, unexpected absences, and fluctuations in census

Position Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED; Degree Preferred
• Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental or mental disabilities preferred for external applicants
• Exposure to risks, hazards or special conditions
• Drug Screening
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to complete 5 consecutive days of new hire orientation
• Ability to transport using company vehicle
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage
• Training and Travel willingness
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks?
• Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
