Necco is Hiring a Family Support Specialist Near Elkview, WV

Position Summary:

Necco has an opportunity for a career as Family Support Specialist. This role will provide value by providing services and supports that empower families to be decision-makers and leaders in their treatment planning. Through activities with the caregivers and child the Family Support Specialist will teach valuable, actionable life skills.

The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

Service Delivery

● Provide family professional in-home support services to include parenting skills, social development, adult life skills, supportive counseling, and more as written in the treatment plan

● Attend all CSED team meetings as scheduled

● Ensure the confidentiality of families served

● Communicate in a responsible, courteous and professional manner with youth, foster parents, biological families, outside agencies, referral sources, CSED team members, and others as appropriate

● Serve as a support system to the family, facilitators, and others as appropriate

● Participate in “on-call” rotation; document and report any on-call activities and follow-up with team (Mobile Crisis Intervention)

Data Entry

● Complete and Submit Medicaid documentation as appropriate

● Ensure complete and accurate data is entered into the Electronic Health Record in accordance with state rules and regulations and company protocol within four (4) days of service

Position Qualifications:

● 21 Years of Age

● Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services

● Minimum of one year’s experience working with children and/or families with emotional or behavioral disabilities.

● Excellent Computer Skills

● Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

● Excellent Organizational Skills and Self Motivated

● Successful completion of all required criminal background checks

● Valid Driver’s License and 100/300/100 Auto Insurance required

● Travel/Training willingness

● Humble, Hungry, and Smart
