Parts Warehouse (Full-Time)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
Stay up to date of current and new products and the location of the inventory within the facility.
Check-in merchandise in against receiving ticket and PO's.
Pick part orders for counter, parts delivery, shop usage, location transfers, and shipments
Load and unload trucks and trailers by hand or by use of a hand truck, forklift, or dolly.
Box, pad and secure items to prevent damage during shipments. Prepare bills of lading for shipment.
Responsible for assisting and assembling product for receiving, storing, shipping, and control of materials in inventory or being sold.
Prepare return tickets or warranty materials and record damage of faulty material.
Assist at counter with customers when necessary.
Report out-of-stock items to parts manager.
Maintain the warehouse so it is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
Recount perpetual inventory checks,
Daily return checks as well as core checks
Helps deliver parts to the back counter and shop
Sort incoming freight as stock or pass through as nonstock; opens packages and boxes, verifies accuracy of shipment; inspects for damage and records discrepancies and report findings to Purchasing Agent.
Compares shipment packing slips against PO's to verify accuracy; communicates with Purchasing Agent to resolve discrepancies; monitors internal back orders, product and packaging changes, etc.
Places stock items on storage shelves and adjusts inventory control records through the receiving process
Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale/retail accounts.
Notifies appropriate parties when special order parts arrive.
Assists in monthly and annual parts returns.
Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.
Maintains professional appearance.
Assures proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions.
Reports immediately to Parts Manager any circumstance or trend which affects job productivity.
HOURS
Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM and every 4th Saturday from 8AM-4PM.
