Job Summary:

As an Onsite Injury Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing injury prevention programs that introduce services directly into our workplace. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential injury risks, design preventive measures, and provide education and hands-on support to employees. Your expertise in techniques and injury prevention strategies will help create a safer work environment and promote the overall health and well-being of our workforce.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, occupational health, and safety personnel, to assess injury risks and develop comprehensive injury prevention programs.

- Design and implement onsite services to prevent workplace injuries, including stretching programs and ergonomics assessments.

- Conduct thorough evaluations of employees' physical abilities and identify potential limitations or risk factors.

- Develop personalized injury prevention triage and provide hands-on interventions to address employees' needs and prevent injuries.

- Deliver educational programs and training sessions to employees on proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention techniques.

- Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations and recommend adjustments or modifications to optimize employee comfort and safety.

- Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and referrals as needed.

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in injury prevention techniques to continuously improve the onsite programs.

- Maintain accurate records of employee assessments, treatment plans, and program outcomes.

Qualifications:

-Must be bilingual

- Proven experience in healthcare, preferably with a focus on occupational health or injury prevention.

- Knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and ergonomics.

- Experience in developing and implementing injury prevention programs, including stretching routines, ergonomics assessments, and exercise protocols.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate employees on injury prevention strategies.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess injury risks and develop appropriate plans and preventive measures.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering strong relationships with members at all levels.

- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
