About the Hospital and Department:

• Hospital: Well-loved trauma center with a 25 bed ED that treats over 45,000 ED patients annually
• The Nursing Director Emergency (ER) will be very well supported by a team of experienced ANM's, Clinical Coordinators and a Department Educator
• Reports directly to a dynamic and transformational Chief Nursing Officer who loves to mentor and grow her leaders

About the Nursing Director Emergency (ER) Position:

Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary oversight of the department, building collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and physicians, maintaining and improving key performance indicators, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided consistently.

Qualifications & Requirements for the Nursing Director Emergency (ER)

• BSN required / Master's preferred
• Active RN License
• 5 years clinical ER nursing experience
• 3 years of ER leadership experience at the Manager level or above (similar size or larger ED)
• Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership
• Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels
• Collaborative, team building personality style
