Under the supervision of the Manager, Client Exp. & Project Management, the Project Leader is responsible for overseeing projects related to their specific division of focus.
Responsibilities:

• IT Project Management
  
  • System Implementation
  • Technical and functional requirements definition
  • Project plan development
  • Ticket/task definition and tracking
  • Project status reporting - verbal and written
  • Coordination of business, technical, and QA resources toward successful completion
• Communication: This position requires a great deal of technical and business-oriented communication, verbal and written. Partners include:
  
  • The extended project management team, which utilizes shared resources and often cooperates on interrelated projects
  • Technical and QA resources -on premise/remote, internal/external/3rd party
  • Relevant Newbury stakeholders
• Manage complex projects and shared resources in a dynamic requirements environment
• Work independently, exercising judgment consistent with company policies and best practices
• Apply qualitative & quantitative decision-making techniques
• Synthesize solutions based on comprehensive knowledge of company operations

Qualifications:

• 6-10 Years of Project Management experience
• 3-5 years of P&C Insurance experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Claims Systems Implementation preferred
• Experience with SQL
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to gain cooperation & influence outcomes without direct authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
