Job Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our dynamic healthcare team, you will be a crucial member in delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will possess a valid Alabama RN license and be available for the specified 3rd shift timing (10:30 pm - 7:00 am). This is an 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and a competitive pay of $57 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

● Provide direct patient care, assess conditions, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.

● Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

● Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance:

● Adhere to state and federal regulations, maintaining a commitment to patient safety.

● Implement and uphold infection control policies within the healthcare environment.

● Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Communication:

● Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a collaborative care environment.

● Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Shift Management:

● Work the designated 3rd shift hours (10:30 pm - 7:00 am).

● Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate changes in patient needs or unit requirements.

Documentation:

● Complete thorough and organised patient records in accordance with established protocols.

Qualifications:

Education and Licensure:

● Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.

Experience:

● Previous experience as an RN in a healthcare setting is preferred.
