Job Type : Full-time
Comp : $18/hr. - $20/hr.
Shifts:
Grinders / Sanders - 1st, 6:30am – 2:30pm
Welder Helpers - 1st, 6am – 4:30pm (10-hours, will get OT)
Job Description :
NCW is currently seeking production workers to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. If you have experience with grinding, sanding, and/or assisting welders, we encourage you to apply. As a production worker, you will contribute to the production process by performing various tasks. Your versatility and commitment to quality will be essential.
Responsibilities:
Grinding and Sanding :
Operate grinders and sanders to smooth and shape metal or other materials.
Remove excess material, burrs, or imperfections.
Follow safety protocols while handling equipment.
Lift and move materials as needed.
Perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Welder Helper :
Assist welders in setting up workstations.
Hold welding pieces in place using clamps or vises.
Maintain a clean work area and organize materials.
Lift and move materials as needed.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with grinding and sanding techniques.
Previous exposure to welding processes (assisting welders is a plus).
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
Comfort working in a physically demanding environment.
Precise execution of tasks to maintain product quality.
Adherence to safety guidelines.
Work effectively within a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
