The Department of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management is searching for Teaching Assistant Professors in Fashion and Textile, Design and Product Development.Responsibilities include teaching, advising, and promoting student learning in the design and development of fashion and textile products, as well as participation in recruitment and other activities of the Department, the Wilson College of Textiles and the University.The successful candidates will be proficient in the use of design technologies and textile materials to creatively develop products that meet the needs of consumers and customers worldwide. Preferred areas of expertise include Fashion Design, Fashion Development, and/or Textile Design.Must be able to communicate and work effectively with faculty, students and staff, as well as working with lab and studio equipment.
