### Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. As an surf Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in various disciplines, including surf camps, private surf lesssons, SUP tours and kayak tours. You will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students of all ages while promoting a safe and positive learning environment. We cater to the islands of Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Island and Figure Eight Island. We offer a variety of private lessons, camps, tours and special programs. We offer the highest compensation for instructors in the industry depending on your past experience. Pay ranges from $13.50hr to $25hr.

### Duties:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student
- Demonstrate proper techniques and form in the respective discipline
- Ensure the safety of all participants during classes and activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on performance
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to coordinate events and activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other relevant information

### Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Ability to manage themselves in a variety of water conditions.
