Deliver materials while operating an N. C. Hunt vehicle, safely and efficiently.
Perform a daily inspection of vehicles, trailers and other equipment. Keep truck cab clean.
Ensure contents are properly secured in the vehicle, flatbed to prevent damage/injury, check straps/ load frequently.
Clear communication with Dispatcher frequently through the day.
Know and comply with all state and federal DOT regulations.
Complete all daily paperwork, including but not limited to, pre and post trip inspections, fuel logging, sign delivery load ticket, etc.
Preform light routine maintenance such as, adding oil, other engine fluids, light bulbs, etc.
Represent yourself and the N. C. Hunt Company, professionally maintaining a high regard for customer service.
Clear understanding of the ELD system including the paper log back up.
No texting in compliance with state laws. Make calls with Bluetooth only unless parked in a safe location.
Verify load and ensure the correct materials are on the truck and acquire the appropriate signature prior to leaving the yard.
Complete delivery ticket prior to leaving the drop off location.
