Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated and outgoing individuals to join our team as a Voter Registration Canvasser. As a Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in our organization by registering the public to vote & join our cause. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys interacting with people.

Duties

• Register Voters in the assigned areas
• Network with local community to gain access to hotspots
• Adhere to the general policies set by the organization
• Educate themselves about Asa Philip Randolph, voting, ballots, etc
• Report any and all connections made throughout the community to the Canvass Director
• Stay up to date on local and state election/voter laws
• Stay up to date on early voting deadlines, voting sites, and election deadlines
• Research different locations within your assigned area for you to canvass
• Check VR Cards for forgery, accuracy, and completion before submitting them to the Team Lead
• Complete the cover sheet accurately on a consistent basis
• Attend assigned hotspots
• Complete objectives assigned by the Canvass Director & District Director

Responsibilities

• Must be able to self motivate, self govern, and become self sufficient
• Must possess people skills
• Be able to adapt
• Report directly to the Team Lead
• Debrief with the Canvass Director accordingly
• Have the capacity to plan & organize locations throughout the week
