Job Description
The Enterprise Product Consumer Data team is responsible for collection, standardization, and democratization of data across NBCUniversal to enable for activation, monetization, and engagement in secure, privacy-centric ways.
As a Product Architect on the Enterprise Product team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of our data infrastructure and products. Your primary responsibility will be to gain a deep understanding of the raw data flowing into our environment, enabling you to make strategic recommendations on data architecture and product development. By leveraging your expertise in data engineering and analysis, you will not only contribute to the enhancement of our current products but also identify new opportunities to drive impactful business outcomes. As a leader within the organization, you will also be responsible for fostering collaboration and innovation to deliver cutting-edge data products.
Data Strategy Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data strategies that align with business objectives and product roadmaps. Identify data-related opportunities and challenges and propose effective solutions.
Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain an efficient, scalable, and secure data architecture that optimally handles data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval.
Data Product Development: Lead the engineering team in building robust data products and solutions that empower the organization to extract meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions.
Performance Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize data architecture and processes to enhance system performance, reduce latency, and optimize cost.
Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
Collaboration & Leadership: Foster a collaborative work environment, providing mentorship and guidance to the data product team, encouraging innovation and product quality.
