As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our manufacturing processes during either day or night shifts. This position requires an individual with experience in staffing and manufacturing who can effectively manage teams, optimize production, and contribute to a positive working environment.

Responsibilities:

Staffing and Team Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise production staff for both day and night shifts.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Manufacturing Operations:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility during assigned shifts.
• Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement best practices and streamline operations.
• Monitor production metrics and adjust processes to meet performance goals.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other shift managers to ensure a smooth transition between day and night shifts.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality control, and maintenance.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet product specifications.
• Investigate and address any quality issues promptly, working towards continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shift Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Background in staffing, with experience in recruiting and managing production teams.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bilingual Prefered

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
