Navyaan LLC - Code Wiz Needham is Hiring a Coding/Robotics/First Lego League/Game Development Coach Near Needham, MA

Do you love working with kids and love technology? Do you love coding? Are you great at multitasking? And are excited at the prospect of learning new things? This position offers you the chance to impact kids’ lives in a fun and enriching way! Join a passionate, dedicated, creative, and collaborative team here at Code Wiz as we help kids unlock their inner Code Wizards!

Responsibilities:

  • Teach kids 7-17 yrs of age the Code Wiz curriculum in coding, robotics or game development depending on your skills and interest
  • Run Trial Classes.
  • Come up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects.
  • Be able to respond to parent questions about child progress.
  • Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction
  • Assist in training new coaches as needed

Expectations:

  • Ensure a positive learning experience for students following the provided curriculum.
  • Keeping things new and fun in the coding class adhering to the students learning style and choice of what they are interested in.
  • Fully engage with your students
  • Be welcoming to parents as you see them

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Python
  • Some experience working with kids in a camp, tutoring, child care, or after-school program
  • Interest and background in one of the following fields: programming in Robotics, First Lego League, Minecraft, Roblox, Scratch, Python, Java, Unity,
  • Charisma and ability to function independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • After school
  • Weekends as needed
