Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing technical projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to closure, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, analysts, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders through regular status reports and meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor project performance against key metrics, milestones, and KPIs, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and validation with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of technical solutions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • years of experience in technical project management roles, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and technical systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, or other technical domains.
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with business analysis and requirements management.
