Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web-based and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Identify, record, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability, quality, and usability of software applications.
• Conduct regression testing and performance testing to ensure software stability and scalability.
• Document test results, findings, and recommendations in test reports and defect reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, or TestRail.
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools and platforms (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Firebase Test Lab).
