Job Title : Assistant Planning Coordinator

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Planning Coordinator to join our team. The Assistant Planning Coordinator will support the planning and scheduling activities of our organization, ensuring that projects and tasks are completed on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will assist in coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to facilitate the planning and execution of various initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays.
  • Assist in coordinating with external partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing project status reports and updates.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation and records related to project planning and execution.
  • Provide administrative support to the planning team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Planning Coordinator or project managers.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • years of experience in project coordination or related role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in the construction industry or related field.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or enterprise resource planning software.
