Position : Medical Assistant
Location : Flushing, NY
Critical Need : Nursing Critical
Shift :
- Monday to Friday
- 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm (Includes a 60-minute break)
Assignment Duration : 6 months
Interview Process : In-person interview with the Vice Chairman
Job Responsibilities :
- Triage patients efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and assist in the exam room.
- Take and record patients' height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with wound care and stitch removal as needed.
- Ensure the exam rooms are clean and organized.
Preferred Criteria :
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
Required Criteria :
- High School Diploma.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedics, including wound care and stitch removal.
