The Procurement Category Manager will co-lead the Body Components Category Management Team (CMT) with R&D working cross functionally within Navistar interfacing with program management, quality, manufacturing, risk management, finance, and supply chain. As Category Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing Body Components sourcing strategies, driving cost reductions, supply base management and negotiating and executing agreements.
The Category Manager’s key activities include, leading strategic sourcing activities, supplier contract negotiations, identifying cost reduction opportunities and overall supplier performance management for cost, quality, and delivery.
