A hybrid, year round, position providing 1:1 direct ABA services across the learner’s home, community and middle school environments in the East Greenwich school district. Individualized behavior plan, programs to implement, and weekly supervision from Navigate Behaviors BCBA across settings.

Must be a clear and open communicator, able to work in a group school setting and provide consistent ABA plan goals across educational supports as well. Experience with learner using an AAC device for communication strongly preferred, but willing to provide training and support to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children with developmental disabilities in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills behavior plan programs in their home, school and/or community.
• Ability to teach in a creative manner at a variety of speeds.
• Record objective daily data on target behaviors, programs, and teaching procedures to reflect client progress toward goals using company software.
• Maintain daily session notes.
• Maintain effective communication and rapport with caregivers, team members, and supervisors.
• Participate in all required meetings and trainings including ABA orientation, ethics, and other job-related topics.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred or the desire to get certified.
