What You Will Do :
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients by understanding their unique financial management challenges and providing customized, effective solutions. Your role will involve regular interaction with clients to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and ensure that our services are aligned with their expectations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize financial operations within the constraints of federal budgeting. This involves working closely with financial teams to ensure that operational improvements are financially viable and align with budgetary limitations and goals.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative data analysis to guide strategic decision-making and organizational transformation. This crucial aspect involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that inform both short-term adjustments and long-term strategic planning
  • Actively contribute to a positive team culture and collaborative working environment within the firm. Your role will involve working closely with colleagues across various departments, sharing knowledge, and fostering a spirit of teamwork and collective problem-solving.
  • Identify, develop, and implement improvements to existing financial management processes and support the development and maintenance of training materials (e.g., standard operating procedures, tools, templates, timelines) to document and/or improve budget and financial management processes
  • Manage end-to-end budget processes and timelines in alignment with client requirements
  • Create, run, and analyze financial reports (e.g., budget planning and execution, ad hoc data requests); Monitor and report on budget projections and funds expenditures
  • Support internal controls development and maintenance
What You Will Need :
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 years of professional experience
  • Thorough level of knowledge of financial management
  • Thorough level of knowledge regarding process improvement, including financial systems optimization and standard operating procedures design and development
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, design, and implement analysis projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop financial models, budget reports, and analysis to support budget decisions
  • Demonstrated some proven track record of success in identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
  • Demonstrated some proven abilities to work successfully as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; providing guidance, clarification and feedback to others.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
  • Understanding of Federal financial management and budget lifecycle (e.g., budgeting, reporting)
  • MBA, MHA, MPA, MPH, MPP, MA, or MS or a similar graduate degree.
  • The ability to think strategically while also delivering results tactically. This includes a strong attention to detail and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with practical implementation.
  • Experience working effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels within an organization. This includes the skill to develop visually appealing and impactful communication materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute effectively within a team. Understanding the importance of team roles and dynamics, and actively contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Skilled in researching and analyzing relevant client, industry, and technical matters, and applying problem-solving skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
