Navico Group Americas LLC is Hiring an Electrical Design Engineer I Near Tulsa, OK

Assist in the design and development of new products or modifications to existing products under the general direction of supervisor or senior team leader. Provide engineering support to other global R&D teams and to manufacturing sites for assigned products. Utilize Navico Product Development (NPD) process to deliver products from the conceptual phase, through design, prototype, qualification, and into production, while under the supervision of senior staff. Support existing products through design improvements or manufacturing support. Provide design support for test procedures, cost estimating, parts lists, or prototype testing. Design mixed-signal circuit for sonar Analog Front End (AFE) used in the fish finders. Select components, capture schematic design, and build the prototype for verification. Conduct hardware design validation of sonar fish finder products by analyzing schematic and performing tests for power and signal integrity. Perform pre-compliance electromagnetic tests of prototypes to establish solutions in the early design stage. Perform root cause analysis of design failures to implement corrective action with minimal impact on manufacturing and procurement. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related. Experience Requirement: 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer or related. Special Skills: Must have work experience with each of the following: (1) Perform pre-compliance electromagnetic tests of prototypes to establish solutions in the early design stage within marine industry; (2) Design mixed-signal circuit and PCB layout leveraging knowledge of different circuit topologies, including analog and digital; and (3) Involved in every phase of product development lifecycle, from the conceptual phase, through design, prototype, qualification, and into production within marine industry.
