Navarre Montessori Academy is looking for a high-quality youth for their summer camp. The summer program at NMA includes exciting STEAM-based activities, water activities, and art and crafts.

Camp counselors are the heart and soul of the program – we are looking for creative youth who can create a fun and engaging curriculum for our campers. Perfect for college students.

Job Type: Part Time(June 6th through July 19th)

Requirements

• Love working with children – preschool and elementary school
• Possess excellent character, integrity, and adaptability
• Exhibit enthusiasm, a sense of humor, patience, and self-control
• CPR/First Aid certification and any other health requirements as required by Florida Department of Family DCF for licensing and certification.
• Submit necessary and requested documents to complete personnel file, including but not limited to, professional certificates, fingerprints, and affidavit for good moral character.

Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and lead age
-appropriate activities and games for children
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Assist in organizing and implementing daily schedules and routines
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment for all campers
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a fun and engaging experience for campers Requirements
- Previous experience in babysitting, childcare, or related field (preferred)
-Background in early childhood education or related field (preferred)
- Experience in theater, behavior management, special education, tutoring, or sports coaching (desired)
- Ability to educate and engage campers in various activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
