Administrative Support Assistant for Religious Program, working title

Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator

Part-Time-Mountain Home AFB, Idaho

Responsibilities

· Set schedules and rosters for all parish organizations/programs.

· Maintain Volunteer Training and Recruitment: Post schedules, maintain resources, and plan for volunteer training and recruitment.

· Attend Protestant meetings and provide monthly RE program reports to the Chaplain Sponsor.

· Prepare Correspondence and Announcements: Handle RE correspondence, budget requests, bulletin announcements, and meeting agendas.

· Monitor registration, maintain lists of teachers and volunteers, and arrange for substitutes.

· Conduct weekly RE programs, including Sunday children’s worship service programming.

· Prepare Annual RE Ministry Plan: Develop a specific RE ministry plan for the upcoming calendar year, including budgeting and procurement.

Requirements:

· 2 years in a Protestant Religious Education (RE) position

· 2 years of coordinating and/or teaching religious education

· Proficient with Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· The position requires a background check.
