Naval Supply Systems Command is Hiring a SECURITY SPECIALIST Near PA, PA
Position Description
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- You will serve as primary assistant to the Security Manager and is responsible for the administrative support for the Industrial Security Program.
- You will assist in the evaluation of the sensitivity classification for positions by applying the sensitivity criteria.
- You will compile information for submission to the Security Manager for determination whether clearances should be granted, suspended, revoked or denied as appropriate.
- You will screen and submit trustworthiness investigations for all government contractors.
- You will review contract proposals to ensure that the appropriate security clauses are incorporated to protect classified and controlled information.
- You will manage and protects classified information, documents and material.
- You will be assigned duties relating to all internal Physical Security and Anti-Terrorism functions.
