Position Description
You will serve as a Materials Handler in the Material Division, Department of Energy (Naval Reactors) Material Office, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for warehousing operations (, receiving, shipping, storing, issuing) involving components and equipment in four occupied warehouses.
- You will unload and process incoming material shipments.
- You will perform a visual inspection of items for shipping damage and technical violations and annotate any discrepancies identified.
- You will determine weight and cube of material for consolidation into truckloads.
- You will operate material handling equipment to stow and pull material and to conduct physical inventories.
