Naval Supply Systems Command is Hiring a CONTRACT SPECIALIST Near PA, PA
Position Description
You will serve as a Contract Specialist within NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS
Position Duties / Responsibilities
- You will serve as the contractual authority on the acceptability and applicability of contractual matters related to NAVSUP WSS Maritime and / or Aviation procurements.
- You will review and analyze procurement requests to determine adequacy, completeness, and commerciality.
- You will conduct pre-negotiation conferences with management and technical personnel to negotiate prices, terms and conditions, contract modifications, and settlements.
- You will monitor contractor technical performance over the life of the contract.
- You will process solicitations, evaluate and analyze proposals, perform cost and price analysis, and develop the pre-negotiation position.
- You will provide training and guidance to team members regarding procurement actions.
