NNL is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Information Technology Program Management Office! The successful candidate will analyze, implement, and monitor project and portfolio planning initiatives. The successful candidate will also prepare, develop, and coordinate project schedules as well as ensure major projects, programs, and portfolio schedules and plans are integrated as needed. The successful candidate will utilize Gantt, PERT, and milestone charts as well as other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. The successful candidate will prepare project performance metrics to report performance to upper management and customers.
Additional items will be to analyzes, implements, and monitors project and portfolio planning initiatives to optimize and scale long-range plans. Prepares, develops, and coordinates project schedules and integrates master plans to meet all program objectives. Ensures major project, program, and portfolio schedules and plans are integrated across lines of business. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, and identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, and milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Prepares project performance metrics to report performance to upper management and customers.
-Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field.
-Experience with, or education in, information technologies.
-Experience with Microsoft Project, PowerBI, and Power Apps
-Advanced Microsoft Excel and SharePoint experience
-Ability to establish/maintain excellent relationships with peers, management, and customers across multiple sites
-Strong attention to detail is essential
-Experience writing, reviewing, and editing documents
-Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communications
-Ability to work independently and/or in a group setting
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
