Job Summary:

Seeking a Data Migration Subject Matter Expert to support migration of data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, focusing on the strategic elements of data management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data strategy, including data cleansing, archiving, and governance in SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of a comprehensive data migration strategy that includes data cleansing, archiving, and validation to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Support the development of a comprehensive data cleansing strategy to identify, correct, or remove corrupt, incorrect, or redundant data from the database.
• Support the development of a comprehensive data archiving strategy to enhance system performance and compliance with legal and regulatory data retention requirements.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to define and ensure adherence to data governance standards throughout the migration process.
• Perform detailed data analysis and mapping to ensure accuracy and integrity of data both pre- and post-migration.
• Troubleshoot data migration issues and provide solutions to ensure a seamless transition.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and migration protocols to guide future migrations and audits.
• Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on new data management practices and technologies introduced with S/4HANA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven track record in managing data migration projects with a strong focus on data strategy, cleansing, and archiving.
• Expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, with in-depth knowledge of SAP data management tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to oversee large-scale data projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing teams and interacting with senior management and cross-functional departments.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications related to data management, SAP S/4HANA, or project management.
• Prior experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, or other relevant data quality and migration tools.
• Knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards regarding data privacy and management.

Travel: Approximately 25% travel may be required.
