Nautical Ventures is Hiring a Transaction Coordinator Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

As a Transaction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of boat sales transactions. Working closely with the office manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining meticulous records in both Dockmaster and Salesforce, ensuring all financial and legal aspects of sales transactions are handled correctly. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction Coordination: Collaborate with the office manager to record every sale accurately in Dockmaster and Salesforce. Maintain appropriate documentation for each transaction.
  • Collateral Management: Ensure the correct collection and deposit of money from cash sales. Properly record liens and mortgages.
  • Payoffs Processing: Accurately process loan payoffs, including verification of payoff amounts, coordination of payments to lien holders, ensuring release of liens, and managing necessary documentation.
  • Warranty Management: Manage warranty contracts for boat motors and vessels. Verify warranty details, ensure accuracy, and submit contracts to appropriate entities.
  • Rebate and Promotion Optimization: Ensure the company takes full advantage of manufacturers' rebates and promotions, confirming correct application to our account.
  • Refunds Management: Handle and process all refund transactions, ensuring eligibility, accurate calculation, and processing.
  • Telecommunications Support: Act as secondary support for handling incoming calls, providing backup to the receptionist. This includes answering inquiries, redirecting calls, taking messages, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in financial transaction processing and documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration.
Skills:
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with administrative software (like CRM tools, finance software).
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
  • Organizational Abilities: Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in handling paperwork, scheduling, and coordination tasks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve administrative issues efficiently.
  • Time Management: Effective management of one's time and the ability to help others organize their time.
Position Type:
This is a full-time executive position with regular business hours, but flexibility may be required based on sales needs and responsibilities.
