Nautical Healthcare Staffing is looking for Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurses to join our team!

The ideal candidates are dependable, compassionate, punctual, and enjoy helping others. These nurses must be reliable and efficient. The ideal candidate must also be able to work with all types of people. 

Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients’ health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.

LPN/LVN Qualifications:

Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
• LPN licensure
• BLS certification
• 1 year recent nursing experience (preferred)
