Location: Hybrid – Italy (or 100% remote in Europe)

Tasks

  • Development and optimization of processes and standards as well as KPIs for controlling and evaluating the sales business.
  • Modeling of business cases as well as taking on ad hoc topics and special analyses.
  • Collaborate with Operations, QA/RA, R&D, etc. to increase accuracy of sales forecasts.
  • Generate discount and margin reports for the sales team to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Provide support by analyzing market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Monitor trends in orders and revenue to identify areas for improvement or adjustment.
  • Develop budgets for different cost centers based on historical data and future projections.
  • Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Management of strategic projects in the sales environment including your own collaboration.
  • Assist in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process by gathering and organizing relevant financial data.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in business administration or economics, ideally with a focus on finance and/or controlling. Or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Several years of professional experience within controlling.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high degree of initiative.
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills.
  • Strong communication and assertiveness as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
  • High IT affinity, especially in the use of common MS Office programs, and ideally knowledge of Siebel, Salesforce, and BI tools.
