The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management within our personal care manufacturing operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in quality management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance and quality control teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

● Maintain awareness of internal and external trends, opportunities for improvement, new customers, changes in markets, new industry developments, evolution of standards and industry practices, threats and risk to the organization.

● Partner with functional/business units to design and support effectiveness and efficiency quality systems by implementing process enhancement, operational improvements, organizational effectiveness, technical solutions, and 3rd party audit readiness.

● Ability to leverage metrics and analytic tools to craft a compelling message in presenting information.

● Supervise the collection and analysis of production samples to ensure quality standards are met.

● Develop and maintain validation processes. Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analyses or quality trends.

● Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.

● Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management and staff.

● Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors as needed.

● Review and update SOP, quality assurance manuals, documents and materials for compliance with policies or regulations.

● Direct the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.

Key Qualifications:

● 8 years of progressive experience in quality management roles within the cosmetic and/or OTC manufacturing industries.

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science related field.

● Bilingual is a plus.

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex Quality concepts clearly and effectively.

● Experience with cGMP, FDA-OTC, NSF ANSI 455-3 Cosmetic, GMP Standard NSF ANSI 455-4 OTC Standard, and ISO-9001.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suites, ERP Systems, quality management systems, document management systems, and electronic submission platforms.

● Certification by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) preferred.
