Natures Way Farms is one of the largest tropical shrub nurseries in Florida. We have more than 40 years of experience growing plants on hundreds of acres in Florida. We are excited to be taking an important step in adding to our safety staff to ensure the well-being of our valued employees.

Job Duties:

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of equipment and sites to ensure safety and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Ensure that current safety guidelines are being followed and updated as necessary to maintain a safe work environment.

Develop detailed injury reports, prevention strategies, and assist in the investigation of incidents to prevent future occurrences.

Assist the safety manager in organizing tailgate meetings to discuss safety-related topics with the staff.

Be self-motivated, trustworthy, and maintain a positive attitude in promoting a safety culture within the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess leadership qualities to effectively implement safety initiatives and motivate the team to prioritize safety.

Excellent verbal skills are essential for conveying safety information and reports effectively.

Be a reliable team member who can be counted on to consistently enforce safety procedures.

Be prepared to work outdoors throughout the year in the South Florida climate, which can be hot and humid.

Being bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful for effective communication with a diverse workforce. Creole would be helpful

Ideally, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in risk assessment and safety initiatives.

Clean driving record for insurance purposes is needed
