• In the absence of the production supervisor, ensures efficient production continues as master schedule dictates.
• Assist in the facilitation of training of employees on the production floor.
• Provide support to the production floor to facilitate Lean projects.
• Work with the production supervisors to enhance Lean initiatives and ensure successful completion of lean goals and objectives.
• Assists in ensuring production personnel follows all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) set forth by the Company.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Communicate all shift activities to next shift lead and/or production supervisor (in supervisor’s absence).
• Conducts transition meetings as required.
• Assists in ensuring the reporting of all machinery malfunctions to the proper personnel/department.
• Assists in ensuring all production equipment setups and takedowns are performed in a safe and organized manner.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Minimum six-months experience in production environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively in a change environment.
• Comfortable with a potentially stressful environment.
• Ability to learn people management and ability to learn skills to deal with employee development and conflict resolution.

Education

• High school diploma

Wage: $28/Hour $1.50/hr shift differential between 6PM - 6:00AM
