Natson Hotel Group is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Mc Donough, GA

The Financial Analyst is responsible for all data collection, input and monitoring related to a portfolio of Economy hotels. The Financial Analyst will interact with hotel General Managers, Regional Managers and Vice Presidents of Operations. This position must meet tight deadlines and a multitude of computer oriented activities including spreadsheets, Smartsheets, accounting software and other proprietary analytical tools and reporting.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze hotel labor usage and OT to ensure compliance with scheduling protocols
  • Maintain log of staffing and open positions by hotel
  • Interact with vendors to monitor payables aging
  • Evaluate hotel Invoices, petty cash and expense reimbursements
  • Recognize and highlight abnormal purchases
  • Maintain detailed out of order rooms log
  • Log and regularly update short and long-term capital projects
  • Assess changes in quality scores

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 2 years professional experience
  • Computer Knowledge/Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills, finance and accounting software/databases
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to process new information quickly and respond aptly to change
  • Ability to use spreadsheets to manipulate large amounts of data and translate into meaningful analysis
  • Demonstrated skill in exercising good judgment and decision making
  • Multi-tasker with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift weights up to 20 lbs.
