ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HAZMAT CERTIFIED

· Carefully package and properly pack contents to ensure safe shipping

· Prepare and print proper shipping paperwork

· Stock and manage inventory of shipping supplies

· Ensure finished packaging meets company standards

Qualifications and requirements

HAZMAT CERTIFIED
· Must be at least 18 years of age

· High attention to detail

· Previous picking/packing/shipping experience is a plus

· Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings a plus

· Must be able to count and compute math

· Experienced with computers, especially MS Office, is helpful

· Ability to read production and shipping documents
Experience
· Willingness to learn all areas of shipping and receiving

· Experience as a Shipping & Receiving specialist is a plus
physical requirements
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push or carry various types of packages weighing approximately 1-60 pounds and process accordingly
