Job Description: Summary of Position
Entry level machine operator with the ability to run manufacturing equipment in a production shop. We offer continuous training to those who seek a career in the manufacturing field.
Job Specification: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect equipment before starting the shift or a job
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
• Review work order instructions
• Log into and out of barcode system for every order
• May run manual machines
• Inspect each part using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, head gauges, etc)
• This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Be willing to move and be trained among a wide variety of machines as workload demands
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred
• Perform basic shop math

Experience

• Previous shop experience preferred but not required

physical requirements

• Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending and reaching, ability to lift handle and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
